Revealing Price Trends and Deals:

When it comes to planning your flights from Paris to Beirut, understanding the historical price trends can help you make informed decisions and find the best deals. Let’s delve into the historical data and uncover valuable insights to guide you in securing affordable flight options in 2023.

Historical Price Trends:

By analyzing historical price data (source: Google), we can observe the fluctuation of flight costs over time. While prices may vary from year to year, identifying general trends can help you anticipate the best times to book. When examining the historical price trends for flights from Paris to Beirut, we can observe certain patterns influenced by various factors, including holidays, events, and travel demand.

Insights for July and August:

When specifically looking at prices in July and August, it is interesting to note that similar-priced tickets are often found during these months. However, the trend reveals that prices tend to be lower approximately two months before the booking date, rather than the departure date.

For example, if we consider July 2023, flight prices for the Paris to Beirut route are typically below 800 euros when booking around 60 days prior to the booking date. However, as the booking date approaches and falls within the 10-15 day range before departure, prices experience a spike, reaching around 1000 euros.

However, as the actual departure date gets closer, prices may experience a slight dip, particularly in July, as the booking day aligns more closely with the departure date. This trend suggests that booking your flight from Paris to Beirut well in advance, approximately two months prior to the booking date, can lead to significant cost savings.

It’s important to keep in mind that these trends are based on historical data and may vary each year. Factors such as changing travel demand, fuel prices, and airline policies can influence price fluctuations. Thus, it is advisable to closely monitor prices, set fare alerts, and stay updated with the latest offers from airlines and travel agencies to ensure you secure the most cost-effective flight for your trip.

Average Prices for Different Months or Seasons:

Based on historical data, let’s take a closer look at the average prices for flights from Paris to Beirut during different months or seasons. Specifically, if you plan to book a flight in July for a trip in July or August, the following price ranges can be observed:

July: Flight ticket prices for a 14-day trip typically range from €770 to €1050. It’s important to note that prices within this range can vary based on factors such as the specific dates of travel, availability, and booking time. By considering the provided price range, you can have a general idea of the potential cost for your trip in July (data source: Google).

August: For a 14-day trip in August, flight ticket prices tend to range from €520 to €1100. As with July, the actual prices within this range will depend on various factors, including the specific travel dates and the time of booking. It’s advisable to compare prices across different airlines and utilize fare comparison tools to find the most suitable and cost-effective options.

Seasonal Variations and Best Time to Book:

Seasonal variations play a significant role in flight prices from Paris to Beirut. The peak travel season, typically during summer months and holidays, tends to have higher prices due to increased demand. On the other hand, off-peak seasons, such as late autumn or early spring, often offer more affordable fares.

To secure the best prices, it is advisable to book your flights well in advance, especially during peak travel periods. As the departure date approaches, prices tend to rise due to the limited availability of seats. By planning ahead and booking early, you can take advantage of lower fares and ensure availability.

Additionally, there are specific days of the week that can offer cheaper flight options. For a 14-day trip in July and August, it has been observed that booking from Tuesday to Tuesday yields more affordable prices. During these months, a return ticket can cost approximately 426 to 553 euros, depending on the specific dates.

Looking at September 2023, it is recommended to book from Thursday to Thursday for the best prices. A return ticket during this period may cost around 291 euros. Similarly, in October, booking from Friday to Friday can result in even lower fares, with a return ticket priced at approximately 204 euros.

These insights highlight the importance of considering both seasonal variations and the specific days of the week when planning your trip. By booking in advance and selecting the optimal days, you can maximize your chances of securing the most cost-effective flight options for your journey from Paris to Beirut.

Factors Influencing Price Fluctuations:

Various factors contribute to the fluctuation of flight prices on the Paris to Beirut route. Holidays, events, and travel demand significantly influence ticket costs. For instance, during peak holiday seasons like Christmas or Easter, prices tend to be higher due to increased travel activity. Additionally, major events taking place in either Paris or Beirut, such as festivals or conferences, can impact flight prices.

Airport Preference: Orly vs. CDG

When it comes to choosing the airport for your flight from Paris to Beirut, Orly (ORY) emerges as the clear frontrunner for several reasons. Let’s explore why Orly Airport offers a better option compared to Charles de Gaulle (CDG).

  1. Proximity and Convenience:

Orly Airport enjoys a distinct advantage as it is situated closer to the city center of Paris compared to Charles de Gaulle. This proximity translates into shorter travel times and added convenience for travelers, especially those seeking a hassle-free journey.

  1. Availability and Frequency of Flights:

Orly Airport boasts a noteworthy advantage with regular flights from Transavia, a reputable low-cost carrier, specifically catering to the Paris to Beirut route. This availability provides travelers with increased options and flexibility in choosing suitable flight schedules.

  1. Transport Options:

Both Orly and Charles de Gaulle airports offer various transportation options to connect with Paris. However, Orly’s closer proximity makes it more accessible and allows for quicker and more cost-effective transport options, reducing both travel time and expenses.

  1. Airport Facilities and Services:

While Charles de Gaulle is a larger airport with more extensive facilities, it is important to note that Orly Airport still provides essential amenities and services to cater to travelers’ needs. These include dining options, shopping outlets, and other essential services to ensure a comfortable journey.

  1. Potential Impact on Flight Prices:

Although flight prices may vary based on multiple factors, choosing Orly Airport does not necessarily result in higher prices. By comparing flight options from both airports, you can identify competitive deals and potentially secure more affordable fares for your Paris to Beirut trip.

Considering the proximity, flight availability, transport convenience, and potential for competitive pricing, Orly Airport emerges as the superior choice for flights from Paris to Beirut. Its closer location, regular flights from Transavia, efficient transport connections, and satisfactory range of facilities make it the preferred airport for travelers seeking a seamless and cost-effective journey.

Budget-Friendly Airlines and Travel Agencies

When it comes to finding budget-friendly options for flights from Paris to Beirut, several airlines and travel agencies are known for offering competitive prices and attractive deals. Let’s explore two notable options: Middle East Airlines (MEA) and Transavia.

  1. Middle East Airlines (MEA):

Middle East Airlines is the national carrier of Lebanon and offers regular flights from Paris to Beirut. While MEA may not always be the lowest-priced option, it is known for providing a comfortable and reliable travel experience. With MEA, passengers can enjoy various amenities, including in-flight entertainment, complimentary meals, and a higher level of service. If comfort and quality are a priority for you, MEA can be a suitable choice.

  1. Transavia:

Transavia is a low-cost airline operating flights from Paris to Beirut. As a budget carrier, Transavia often offers more affordable fares compared to full-service airlines. While the level of service may differ from MEA, Transavia provides a no-frills experience, focusing on cost-effective travel options. Passengers may have to pay extra for additional services such as meals and baggage allowance, but Transavia can be an excellent choice for travelers seeking a more budget-friendly option.

In addition to MEA and Transavia, it’s advisable to explore various travel agencies and online platforms that specialize in offering discounted fares and deals. These agencies often partner with multiple airlines, enabling you to compare prices and find the most budget-friendly options for your Paris to Beirut journey.

When considering your options, take into account your preferences for comfort, services, and overall travel experience. What about the cost of clubbing?

As the cost might vary from one club and one event to another, we highlight in this post the cost of clubbing in general terms and we do not talk about cost of partying in a particular club, However, we are providing the contact details for each club so you can reach out to them and ask for further information in case you are interested to learn more.

  • Club entrance: Up to 35 Euros (entrance fee for some of clubs might include 1 free drink)
  • One drink: 10 – 25 Euros
  • Bottle service: 350 – 10,000 Euros or more (it depends on how big you would like go)

Why we think you should always reserve a table at the club?

We understand that it’s not cheap to reserve a table at a club, but we still think it’s worth it for many reasons. First of all, you avoid the entrance problems, it’s very rarely that the bouncers won’t let you in if you have a table reserved at the club. Having said that, the management reserves the right to refuse admission. Also, some of these clubs will only let you in if you arrive before midnight, but again this applies for those of you who didn’t reserve a table. The second benefit is that drinks are inclusive in the table rate, so you avoid the hustle of going back and forth to the bar all night long just to grab your drinks. The third reason, is you will have your own space to enjoy dancing freely without being disturbed by other people in case the club was crowded and of course this can apply to both standing or couch tables depending on the size of the club. To conclude, it’s more cost beneficial to book a table (bottle service) as long as you can afford it.

What about the reviews?

If you lookup the clubs mentioned in this post, you will find out that they have mixed reviews, both good and bad testimonies. Most of the bad reviews is due to entrance problems (we gave you a tip above on how to decrease your chance of not getting in). Most of clubs can be quite strict at the door, they cannot just let everybody in, they need to maintain certain quality and balance. Having read all kind of reviews, from our side we actually believe that it all depends on the personal experience, meaning you shouldn’t judge anything unless you try it. It’s very simple, try it and if you don’t like the clubbing experience in any club for any kind of reasons then don’t go there again!

We hope you’ve enjoyed this post!

When is the Best Time to be on Holiday 2019?

When is the Best Time to be on Holiday 2019?

Often people are looking to find the best time to be on holiday, whether it’s a long holiday for a couple of weeks or a short city trip for 2-4 days. In this post, we provide you some advice on the best time to be on holiday, but that depends from one person to another on a number of elements, whether you have flexibility at work to take your holiday whenever you want or whether you can only go on holidays when your kids have school holidays or when your partner is available. It can also depend on your budget as it’s one of the hurdles to find a good time to be on vacation. Here are our best tips which can help you find the best time to be on holiday:

1. Find a cheap flight to a country of destination

One of the key considerations for travelers while planning their holiday is to find a cheap flight to their country of destination. You could simply do that by either booking your flight early enough in the year if you already have a place in mind or by booking during the low season period. The best low season period that we identify is September, October,  May and sometimes you can find a good deal in June as well.

Use social media platforms to find the cheapest flight deals by following a number of travel bloggers and travel agencies which can find the deal for you, as these people post regularly on their Facebook page or on their Instagram profile the best flight deals they find on the internet.

Another way to find great flight deals is by subscribing to newsletters provided by travel agencies. This is ideal for those of you who would like to do a few city trips during a long weekend in order to explore a city or a country nearby.

In case you have few destinations in mind, you could also use our low fare calendar which can help you find the cheapest time to fly during the year.

2.   Bridge your holiday with bank holidays

Most people have work or other commitments in their life, they cannot just leave on holiday whenever they want to because they need to show up to work and they probably have limited days off in one year. Therefore, one of our best tips is to make the best out of your holiday by bridging them with bank holidays, whether it’s Independence Day or other types of holiday in your country of residence, take few days off before or after that day. This way you don’t waste your bank holidays, but you are actually enjoying them somewhere on the beach or on a mountain. So actually, this way you use your holidays more efficiently. Besides, this way you minimize the workload when you come back from holiday as everyone else had one or two days off due to a bank holiday. Of course, all of the above is correct if you plan your holiday in advance, that’s why planning your holiday is very important to make the best out of it.

3. Find the right work-holiday balance

Finding the best time to be on holiday isn’t always related to finding cheap flights and cheap hotels, a lot of people go on vacation simply because they need it. Nowadays, we live in a competitive environment that requires people to work hard. Thus, people want to have a regular break from work, they need to disconnect for a while from their daily activities and clear their minds in order to come back more productive, and the best way to do that is by being on holiday. Try to break your holiday in parts, make sure that you are not continuously working for more than 6 months. For instance, if you are entitled to take 20 days off in a year, try to break them into 3 or 4 parts as follows (5, 5, 10 days), if you take the first 5 days including weekends that would sum-up to 9 days which is a good period to be on vacation and disconnect for 9 days. You could arrange the second 5 days to have multiple city trips during a long weekend or you could use them to bridge with bank holidays. The last 10 days you could use for the so-called “holiday of the year”, which is normally people would take during the summer period. This way you break your holiday into parts.

The key element for all of the above is to plan your vacation days in advance and don’t leave it for the last second. We know that planning in advance can be very challenging due to different circumstances and requires some efforts but once you do it you could repeat the same plan every year, adjust it and build on it.

  • Find a cheap flight to a country of destination
  • Bridge your holiday with bank holidays
  • Find the right work-holiday balance

How to Beat Jet lag? Best Tips of 2019

How to Beat Jet lag? Best Tips of 2019

Nowadays, frequent travelers experience time zone change more frequently than ever due to different reasons of travel. Some travelers they barely come back from their business trip and either they are already packing for the next one, or they are packing for their holiday with the family.

Jet lag can last for 2 or 3 days and you cannot run away from it but it’s not that bad if you can develop techniques to overcome it, so why does jet lag happen? Jet lag is known also as time zone change syndrome and it happens when people fly from one time zone to another and it causes a disruption in their sleep as a result of that time zone crossing. The more time zones you cross the more severe the symptoms are. Basically, jetlag happens because your internal time-keeping system is disrupted and your body clock is out of sync.

Here are our best techniques that can help you beat your jet lag and quickly recover from it:

1.    Book a flight that lands at night

Travelers experience jet lag on their way back home more often than when they fly to their destinations (e.g. if you are traveling from Europe back to your home in Los Angeles or any city located on the west coast then there is a higher likelihood to experience jet lag than on your way to Europe), therefore we advise our travelers to take into account landing times when they book their flight so they can find a flight that lands at night in order not to encounter any sleeping difficulties.

2.    Eat a filling meal

Another trick that helps beating jet lag is to eat a filling meal when you land, even if you are tired and you don’t feel like eating or doing anything, we recommend you to eat because if you don’t, then you might wake up in the middle of the night looking for food. A filling meal doesn’t have to be unhealthy, you can have some fish and vegetables or some soup and fruits for desserts.

3.    Exercise or go for a run

In case you land in the morning or in the afternoon then exercising would be the best option for you to keep you going for the day. You can also go for a run in the park for 20 – 30 minutes in case the weather permits.

Exercising followed by a hot shower helps you overcome the stress and the tiredness you have and it will help you recover faster from your jet lag.

4.    Let it go and have a flexible schedule

The best way to beat jet lag is to actually let it go and learn how to overcome it by adopting certain techniques (as mentioned above). What we mean by fighting it is that, if you wake up at 4:30 A.M and you couldn’t go back to sleep after trying for the next 10 or 20 minutes, then don’t waste your time by keeping on trying because you will not sleep. So get up, drink some coffee, start your day as usual and make sure you accomplish as much as possible in the first part of your day because you will not be as productive later in the day. You will feel tired around the afternoon time, but since you start your day early you can actually finish it early. Flexible working hours are very common nowadays, so if your schedule allows you to leave work early then you can leave early and do some other activities until it’s time to sleep. Don’t try to sleep in the afternoon because it will only make your jet lag worse. Even if you are very tired, make sure you keep going until it’s time for you to go to sleep.
